.. _navSHC: Navigating SPACE HUB Control ============================= SPACE HUB Control is divided into three key areas: - Top Toolbar - Workspace - Bottom Toolbar Top and Bottom Toolbar are always visible, while the Workspace changes depending on which page is currently selected. **Top Toolbar** .. image:: ../../_images/Top_Bar.* :alt: Top Bar :width: 100% :align: center The Top Toolbar is used to switch the Workspace between different pages. The current selection is highlighted in RED. Switching between pages can also be achieved with a :ref:`keyboard shortcut` by pressing the corresponding number (from left to right: Object View = 1). Additionally the Top Toolbar displays system status (active network connections) and hosts the File Menu. Use the File Menu to perform the following actions: - :guilabel:`New` create a new project - :guilabel:`Open` load an existing project - :guilabel:`Open Recent` load a project from a list of recently opened projects - :guilabel:`Save` save current state and overwrite selected project - :guilabel:`Save As` save current state as a new project - :guilabel:`Export to KLANG` send the Speaker positions to KLANG in order to integrate with a KLANG processor - :guilabel:`Meters Window` open the meters window - :guilabel:`Mixer Window` open the mixer window **Filter** Directly below the top toolbar, in pages with list elements (Object, Snapshots, Orbits, Reverb), there is a Filter input field. Here you can filter for the particular group of list elements that you want to work with. For example, if you type "viol" in the Filter field of the Object View, the Objects displayed might be "Violas, Violin 1, Violin 2" **Bottom Toolbar** .. image:: ../../_images/Bottom_Bar.* :alt: Bottom Bar :width: 100% :align: center The Bottom Toolbar contains tools relevant to the SPACE HUB Control Windows and displays extra information about the show's status (MTC, Snapshot). - :guilabel:`Clear Link` clears the link between selected stereo Objects - :guilabel:`Hide` removes from the Object list any Objects which have their own 'Hide' buttons selected - :guilabel:`Solo` a global Solo button. When a number of Objects are set to Solo, this button will toggle the Solo state of all these Objects. - :guilabel:`|<` sets an Object back to the start of its Orbit trajectory when it is playing - :guilabel:`Play` when selected, starts to play all Objects that have selected Orbits and whose own Play butons are selected. - :guilabel:`xxx bpm` an internal beat rate (beats per minute). The rate indicates the rate at which random :ref:`Orbit` trajectory steps are generated and followed. The Button in the center of of the Bottom Toolbar switches the User Interface between Day Mode and Night Mode. The following buttons provide global access to snaphots, enabling quick retrieval regardless of the current context: - :guilabel:`Save` saves the current state of all Objects in the currently selected snapshot - :guilabel:`Load` loads the state of the currently selected snapshot to all Objects - :guilabel:`<<` selects and loads the previous snapshot in the snapshot list as the current snapshot - :guilabel:`>>` selects and loads the following snapshot in the snapshot list as the current snapshot The Zoom Slider on the right side of the Bottom Toolbar alters the Panning Area (the Pinch Gesture on a Trackpad works as well). .. toctree:: :maxdepth: 6 pages/01_object_view pages/02_snapshot_list pages/03_orbits_view pages/04_processing_page pages/05_control_page pages/06_groups_page pages/07_reverb_page pages/08_downmix_page pages/09_speakers_page pages/10_settings_page
